Color me tickled.
A collar that would withstand the roughhousing me and DJ engage in?
Could be....
When it arrived, this Black Leather Collarwas encased in a plastic bag. No bells or whistles, no warranties, no fancy silk baggie. Just a plain leather collar, utilitarian in every sense. The only smidgen of color was the red stitching that held this piece of leather gear together. I unwrapped it and immediately adorned my neck with it. It was extremely comfortable, yet would not yield easily when yanked about. I pulled on the D Ring quite fervently, tossing my head to and fro....but it was very sturdy. Not too shabby for a plain jane collar.
But, could it withstand a true throttling from my heavy handed hubby?
Attached to his hand by the leather leash, I remained at his beck and call, every demand emphasized by a gruff tug at the leather around my neck. Now, I had absolutely no concern that this collar would disintegrate in quality during the scene, but I did worry that the leash may snap. That says quite a bit about the collar and my faith in it.
The only drawback seems to be the amount of slack someone with a smaller neck may encounter. As you probably know, the unsightly stretch of unused strap cannot be tucked away.....BUT if you are brave and skilled in arts and crafts, I suppose you could cut and stitch it to fit....
On the plus side, this collar can fit up to a size twenty neck....
I give this beaut a five on the Rocket Scale....
